For as long as I can remember, the driving force in my life has been connecting with others through my own self-expression. Thinking back to my childhood and into my young adults years, I had no lack of expressive passions. I played sports, I drew, I made websites, I took photos and made videos and I played and wrote music.

When it came time to choose a focus in university and eventually a career, when I didn’t quite know what to pursue, so I naturally gravitated towards avenues that allowed me to turn my desire to connect into a profession. I chose the field that made the most sense: communication

Since then, with everything I have done and do, a piece of me has been attached. Whether in a news story, a press release, a short film, or a song, my desire to connect and my sense of the world have been at the heart of both my personal and professional lives and at the centre of everything of which I am proud.

There’s nothing more important to me than family. I am married to a wonderfully strong, patient and compassionate woman who is an elementary school teacher. We met in my first year of university and have been together since.

Together, we are raising twin boys who are equally as wonderful, energetic, passionate and intelligent. We love watching movies, making jokes, playing sports, doing crafts and visiting with our family.
